Banks / Currency
Estonian national currency is the Estonian kroon - EEK.
The exchange rate is 1 DEM = 8 EEK.
Foreign currency can be exchanged in banks (open Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00), hotels and exchange points in the city, airport, port and railway station.
Please notice that at the registration desk all payments in cash can be accepted only in Estonian currency.
Time Zone
Estonia is on Eastern-European time, two hours ahead of Greenwich mean time.
Weather Conditions
At the beginning of October, the climate in Estonia can be very changeable and unstable.
The temperature during the day may range from +8'C to +18'C.
We recommend you to bring a raincoat or an umbrella.
Transportation
One-way public transport tickets at 4 EEK (6 EEK in Express-buses) are available at the kiosks and from the bus-driver.
Taxi costs 3-5,5 EEK/km.
