Conference Information



The official language of the Conference is English which will be used for all presentations and printed material.


Registration

At the arrival to TTU the participants are requested to contact the registration desk where they will receive a comprehensive package of conference materials.

On Sunday, October 6, the registration desk will be situated by the main entrance of the TTU building.
During the Conference the registration desk will be open for information and general assistance to the participants at the conference site in Building 6 of TTU.

The message board, which participants should check periodically, will be close to the registration desk.

Conference Proceedings

The Proceedings of BEC'96 will be distributed to all registered participants among other conference materials at the registration desk.

In addition, the proceedings will be available for interested persons at the registration desk or later through the conference office at 300 EEK.

Refreshments

Free refreshments (coffee, tea, soft drinks, snacks) will be served between sessions during the conference in the registration room or/and in front of the lecture halls.

Guests of the Conference

All interested persons should contact the conference office as soon as possible, to reserve the accommodation through the conference office.

A conference programme and attendance of all BEC '96 sessions are free for all interested persons.

A comprehensive package of conference materials and tickets to social events are available at the registration desk (in cash, in Estonian kroons (EEK) and by credit cards).


Presentations

Lectures

Authors are requested to meet their Session Chairman in the lecture hall allocated for their talk 15 minutes prior to the start of the sessions.

The oral presentation should consist of a talk up to 15 minutes and a 5 minutes period of questions and discussion.

Overhead projectors are available in each lecture hall.

Posters

Posters should be posted up on Tuesday, October 8 or on Wednesday, October 9, by 11.00 in the exhibition room (room E), open for the conference participants during the conference hours on Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10.

Authors will have a panel of 95cm x 120cm at their disposal. Sticking materials will be provided by organizers.

Round Table Discussion

Round table discussion on "Education in Electronics and MST" is planned to take place on Wednesday, October 9 at 16:00.

Apropos thesis will be added to the comprehensive package of conference materials. Interested participants will be asked to register at the registration desk during the first days of the Conference.
